Anti-Ragging Cell
About
Constituted under the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, and the mandate of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the Anti-Ragging Cell reflects the Institute's unwavering commitment to a humane, secure and inclusive campus. It rests on the conviction that dignity and psychological safety are the foundation on which meaningful learning is built.
Objective
- To uphold a zero-tolerance environment against ragging in every form, on and beyond the campus.
- To cultivate awareness of the legal, ethical and human consequences of ragging through sustained sensitisation.
- To ensure swift, confidential and impartial redressal of complaints, backed by decisive disciplinary action.
- To nurture a culture of mentorship, mutual respect and belonging between senior and junior students.
