Course Introduction

A post-doctoral D.Litt. programme in Sanskrit — A comprehensive programme in Sanskrit language, literature and śāstric (classical) traditions covering grammar (Vyakaran), poetry, philosophy and Vedic studies.

Course Objectives

  • Attain proficiency in Sanskrit grammar, composition and reading.
  • Engage critically with the Vedas, Upanishads, Kavya and Shastra literature.
  • Build skills for translation and interpretation of Sanskrit texts.

Eligibility

Ph.D. in concerned subject with substantial published research and outstanding contribution to the discipline.
