Jain Vishva Bharati Institute Central Library — “Vardhman Granthagar” — holds a rich collection of over 76,000+ books covering Indology, Religion, Philosophy (Indian & Western), Psychology, Social Science, Hindi, Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, English Literature, Computer Science, Linguistics, History, Law and Art, along with 6,000+ rare manuscripts. The library subscribes to 150 journals (including 10 international) and, through the UGC-INFONET / e-ShodhSindhu consortium, provides access to 16,000+ online journals.
The Central Library is also building a digital collection of Jain manuscripts from across India. Over 6,000 manuscripts have already been digitised from its own holdings, the Rajasthan Oriental Research Institute (Jodhpur) and Chittorgarh, with work ongoing at Bikaner and Ujjain. The library provides document and information support for the research, study and academic activities of the Institute.
